Bajun Ray Mavalwalla has lived a life defined by duty. As a soldier, he took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. And through his service to country, community and family, he has exhibited the highest levels of leadership. Born in California and raised in Petaluma, Bajun’s calling for civic duty began early in life. At just ten years old, Bajun successfully petitioned the city council to lower the speed limit in front of his public elementary school. This achievement, by a 5th grader, was the first manifestation of Bajun's steadfast leadership and commitment to maintaining what is just and fair.
Bajun's true passion was the life of a soldier, serving in the U.S. Army for over two decades. He began his military career as a simple enlisted man, and later, as a commissioned officer. Bajun saw active combat with deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Along the way, he also worked as a recruiter, offering advice, and sharing his life experience with those in need of guidance.

After retiring from the military, Bajun settled in Valley, Washington. Here, he continues to exhibit the same strong sense for community that he did as a 5th grader back in 1975. And his God-given gift for leadership is desperately needed now more than ever. Realizing that the Constitution is now under attack, Bajun's sense of duty calls, and he is compelled to run for Congress.

Bajun is running for Congress to stand up for common, hard-working Americans – those who are suffering to make ends meet, while billionaires continue to hoard up all the wealth in this great nation. Bajun is running for YOU, Eastern Washington. He is running to protect YOUR civil liberties, as defined in our Bill of Rights. Bajun is running to bring integrity, experience, and compassion back to public service. Bajun is running for what is just and fair, nothing more, nothing less.
